    Parch walks you through it: it opens Goodreads inside the app, you sign in and tap Export Library, and your whole library moves in, covers and all. Your shelves, ratings, read dates, reviews, private notes and reread counts come across, custom shelves become tags, and the half and quarter stars Goodreads just added stay exactly as you gave them. Nothing is deleted from Goodreads, so you can keep using both.

    Questions, answered

    Is Parch free?

    Yes. Parch is free on iPhone and Android, including tracking, reading sessions, streaks, stats, the Goodreads import and cloud sync with a free account. An optional Premium subscription adds extras such as the reading guide, which paces a book to the date you want to finish it.

    Is Parch private?

    Yes. Your library, ratings and notes are private by default, with no feed, no followers and no public reviews. Parch has no ads and never sells your data. When you want to share something, you choose it and share it as a card.

    Can I import my Goodreads library?

    Yes. Go to Profile, then Import / Export, then Import from Goodreads, or start from the welcome screens. Parch opens Goodreads inside the app, you sign in and tap Export Library, and your shelves, ratings, read dates, reviews and reread counts move in, half and quarter stars included. Nothing is deleted from Goodreads.

    Does Parch work with Kindle?

    Parch doesn't connect to Kindle, so it can't sync your progress or import highlights. You log Kindle reading yourself, with a timed session or a quick page update. If you had a Kindle shelf on Goodreads, it comes across as a tag when you import.

    Does Parch track audiobooks?

    Yes. Listening minutes count as real progress toward your streak and goals, and one book can be print, ebook and audiobook at once, so switching formats mid-book is fine.

    Is there a web version of Parch?

    Not yet. Parch is an app for iPhone and Android. With a free account, your library syncs and backs up across your devices.
